I came to Josephine to relieve the stress from my daily life. My day to day tasks had me feel overwhelmed. After my session, I felt lighter and more relaxed. I made sure to schedule another session, so I don’t reach that point again.

Josephine's reiki wellness session was really interesting and healing for me. I recommend her to anyone who wants clarity and release of energy that no longer serves them. You can't heal something you don't know, and I felt that Josephine was able to bring up things from beneath the surface to be acknowledged and released. There definitely was an emotional and energetic shift after working on inner child issues. I was able to see a specific inner child wound in the past, but Josephine brought it home where she helped me finally heal that part.

This was truly a 10/5* experience, and that’s coming from an online participant! I had the pleasure of participating in the Holistic Reiki I training this past weekend, and even as a virtual attendee, I felt fully engaged and included throughout the entire experience. The workshop began promptly, and after brief introductions, Josephine immediately began sharing her knowledge and wisdom. There were two online participants and two in-person participants, which created a welcoming, intimate, and interactive learning environment. I gained a deep understanding of the fundamentals of Reiki and truly appreciated the holistic approach that Josephine has thoughtfully integrated into her teaching. The Day 1 experience was both enlightening and transformative, supporting growth for both the body and the soul. The one-on-one exercises were especially valuable, and the personalized feedback I received was truly priceless. I highly recommend this training to anyone interested in Reiki, as well as any of the services offered through Jo Energy Healing. Josephine creates a supportive, professional, and empowering environment that makes learning both meaningful and impactful. Thank you, Josephine, for such a wonderful experience. I’m looking forward to continuing my Reiki journey with you!

As a young adult transitioning, there are many ups and downs. I have been experiencing some issues and visited Jo for Reiki healing. After a few sessions, I felt a lot better.

Jo is an amazing healer and teacher! I just took her Riki 1 class at the North Chicago Library and I learn so much about engery work and healing. She know how to tap into you talents and make you feel at ease.

She is knowledgeable, kind, and loves what she does. I have enjoyed taking all of the Reiki classes at North Chicago Public library. Right now I'm taking the Reiki 1 class and have learned so much about myself and is definitely helping me become a better person.

More: I’ve taken Reiki 1-3 from Josephine, and I’ve honestly learned SO MUCH from her. I ask a ton of questions, and she’s always patient, completely honest, and explains things in a way that helps me understand. You can really feel that she cares about your growth, your well-being, and your progress. Also, she is incredible knowledgeable and deeply skilled in what she does, and she puts thought into her teachings, making them truly meaningful. After each meetup, I feel like I’m uncovering deeper layers of myself and just feel more grounded and centered. She’s incredible, and I am grateful to have meet her and really can’t recommend her enough. 😊 Original post: I recently took the Reiki 1 class. I'm really grateful she's created such a fun, safe and supportive space for us to learn and grow. I went for Jo Energy healing for past life regression, she did reiki first. It was an amazing session. i discovered myself even more, then had a follow ups session and felt more calmer, opened my heart even more, learned how to regulate my nervous system, had more clarity on things that i want and she is very helpful and always there whenever you needed an answer. I am super grateful i found her, i highly recommend her when you feel you're lost and needed an answer.

I had the opportunity of attending a burning bowl ceremony with group reiki online with Jo. The energy was the strongest EVER of all my reiki sessions and could feel the shift in my own energy hours following. Jo is a great leader, speaks with excellent cadence and is very knowledgeable. I learned of Josephine's services from a close friend who was on their own spiritual journey, it was recommended to me to try a Reiki Wellness session to start. This is very new to me and I went in with an open mind and open heart hoping to learn something new about myself and get a better understanding of myself that I may not have thought of or know before. Josephine was very easy to talk to and we were quickly able to engage in emotional and deep personal conversations, it gave me comfort and felt at ease. I was in good hands when guided through an energy meditation and after the meditation, Josephine will summarize and pass on key messages relevant to your life path or goals to you for your learning and coach you on various techniques to self practice to continue furthering your own spiritual growth. I thought it was an enlightening and rewarding experience overall

Josephine is a wonderful Reiki Healer and Meditation Facilitator and Reiki Teacher. Each session that I have joined with her has been calming, grounding, and very insightful. She can work with you 1-on-1 and has an awesome online community. She is a person who is patient and genuinely tunes into you as she listens to what areas you wish to work on or what you are experiencing. I have gained clarity and feel empowered from working with her. I recommend that you try at least one session, especially if you have not experienced Reiki before. :) With much gratitude, thank you Jo for offering your gifts to help those needing energy healing.

I didn’t expect to feel so much during a group Reiki session over Zoom… but with Josephine, I did. The energy was so strong, I felt it move through me in waves — like something deep inside me was finally letting go. I didn’t even realize how much I was holding until it started to lift. After the session, I felt calm, safe, and lighter than I’ve felt in a long time. It was exactly what I needed, even though I didn’t know I needed it. Thank you Josephine ❤️

Josephine Hughes is a Gifted Healer. I am also a healer (Reiki, Massage Therapy, and more) with 25 years of experience, so “I know one when I work with one”. The two things that stand out about Josephine are 1) the extensive range of training and experience she has, including a heavy emphasis on energy and spiritual healing. Physical forms of healing, including emotional and psychological, definitely have their place. But, IMHO all dis-ease exists on a foundation of energy and spiritual considerations. Addressing the underlying influences, facilitates healing at the observable level. 2) Beyond her training and experience, she is very perceptive. She can, to one degree or another, “sense” her client’s underlying conditions and situations, and use that information to most appropriate apply her treatment regimen. With both the knowledge of her client’s state-of-being, and having all the right “tools”, she is an impressive healer. I wholeheartedly, without reservation, recommend her. In addition to her private practice, Josephine hosts discussion groups on Meetup. In addition to the discussion, these meetings typically include some group meditation and some group Reiki healing. I personally attend 25 to 30 meetings a week, on Zoom, Meetup, and Insight Timer (there isn’t much in-person spiritual-community where I live). I always sign up for Josephine’s meetings as soon as they are announced, because attendance is capped. Of all the meetings I participate in, I like Josephine’s the best, because of the range and depth of spiritual topics. This is both remarkable and just what I personally want.
