    If you are interested in Reiki, this is the right time to connect with Veronique! She is incredibly kind and generous with her time and expertise. She is an excellent teacher and resource for anyone on the journey of self healing through Reiki or to further the sharing of the gift of Reiki with others.

    After looking in the northern Chicago area for a Reiki instructor, I decided on Veronique Frede due to her Usui lineage and her ongoing group practice sessions. I took a group class for Reiki I and a private class for Reiki II, and found both classes with her immensely rewarding. A large component of the lessons focuses on the meditation practices and spiritual philosophy surrounding Reiki, which has several beneficial effects on the student beyond hands-on healing. Veronique’s approach to being a Reiki practitioner is very client-focused, and her teaching made me feel more confident in my ability as a healer. I highly recommend studying with Veronique for anyone considering becoming a Reiki practitioner, as well as those interested in gaining a deeper philosophical and spiritual understanding of Reiki healing.

    What a beautiful space and a wonderful Reiki and Mindfulness teacher!!! My partner and I have taken Reiki 1 and 2 levels with Veronique Frede over the past year and met with her for additional support as well. Soon after, we also attended Veronique’s mindfulness classes. Through training with Veronique, I was able to meditate and form my own daily practice for the first time in my life. I was able to go really deep within the Reiki practice by receiving teachings that are strongly grounded in authentic Japanese practice founded by Mikao Usui. Veronique has insurmountable knowledge and background in not only Reiki but also Japanese tradition, Buddhism, Zen meditation, and mindfulness. Guidance from her allowed us to effectively turn within and practice efficiently and with ease. Her class materials (visuals/pictures), in class practices/discussions, recommended readings (and bringing books to class), follow-up e-mails with additional resources, and availability out of class for questions were extremely helpful. Veronique and her masterfully delivered teachings have inspired me to stay on the path to healing and self-discovery, seek additional information, form a solid foundation, and practice diligently. She is kind, compassionate, focused, flexible, humble, and grounded. She encourages critical thinking and questions, and is very open to help her students in any way that she can both in and out of class!!!
